About Us
The aim of the organisation is to provide:
- a forum for musicians to regularly meet and play together
- a quality community band to play at appropriate events in the Huon Valley and to represent the Huon Valley at events outside the area
- opportunities for members of the Huon Valley community to receive basic music tuition (e.g.provide free instruments and tuition to beginners),
- opportunities for members of the community to further their musical experience (e.g. arrange for professional musicians to conduct workshops for Huon Valley Musicians)
The Concert Band plays a variety of music including marches, movie themes, classical and pop.
